| Attention All 11-16 Year Olds !!! Do you fancy a whole weekend of Drama and Dance? Then why not sign up for the WADS Boot Camp? On the weekend of Friday 20th March - Sunday 22nd March WADS are proud to launch an exciting new Youth Initiative. We have lined up two excellent professional drama and dance tutors who are willing to come along, help improve your drama and dance skills, and set us on our way to providing future youth drama events. This is your opportunity to make a difference and pave the way for youth theatre in Witchford. Whether you have been involved with WADS before doesn’t matter, come along, learn and have fun. The whole weekend is going to cost several hundred pounds, but the great news is that WADS will be funding about half of that amount, leaving participating students paying only £25 each (an incredible £1.56 per hour for the 16 hours of tuition and fun). Over the weekend, you will get the chance to develop your drama and dance skills either as duos or small groups. At the end of the Sunday session you will be able to show your family and other WADS members what you have learned (and make them all jealous). Our tutors have kindly agreed to also provide a short feedback summary if you would like one, picking out the points that you have particularly done well (another great thing to put under the noses of your parents ). During the weekend we will also get together as a group to decide what YOU want to do in the future in terms of Youth Theatre. The WADS adults are committed to supporting youth theatre development, and will provide you with all the help you need. This is your chance to develop youth theatre in the village, and we know you will make a brilliant job of it. We are going to have a busy, but fun weekend. There is no audition process, but places are very limited. We can have a maximum of 24 students, divided equally into two age ranges 11- 13 and 14-16. Eligibility is for those 11-16 year olds who either live in the Village or attend the Witchford Schools. Places can only be reserved by the full payment of £25 (cheques payable to “Witchford Amateur Dramatics Society”), delivered to Keith Gallois at 9 Field End, Witchford (666082). Payment will be non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Reservations will begin from Midday on Sunday 12th October. Don’t gamble on waiting a few months – you may find yourself at the end of a very long waiting list.
